Scuppernong is the name of a cross stitch floss I‘m using. I thought it might be a nautical term although I couldn‘t figure out why it would be green. Obviously I was way off the mark. Now I want to travel to the southern US and try their grapes.

pickInteresting book combining Ken Jenning‘s account of his winning streak on Jeopardy and a history of the popularity of trivia and people who like it and like competing about it. And I also like some of the same things that he does.
Starting a book I should have read years ago. Picked up at a Library sale. I am a less accomplished trivia lover than Ken. While I am just gradually getting through my other books, this will go MUCH faster
Another day, another pub trivia that had a sports round and not a book round…
The music round was worth 20 points so one can come back from a dismal showing in the sports round.
Unsure how I feel about knowing what the song was in the question called “fresh shit” was.
Came third - after being tied for second for most of the night. I‘m so pleased with this, we were a little table of two - against much bigger tables.
