Pickpick

I read this in September for the #agathachristieclub and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I forgot just how sassy Poirot can be. There were lots of twists that kept me guessing. Really entertaining! 4/5⭐️

Bambolina_81 I still haven't finished this one!! Must get a bit of a move on this month 🤔 7y
ferskner He's the sassiest! 7y
batsy Sometimes I think that Christie took pleasure in making fun of the men of her class/time through her depictions of Hastings 😄 #sassyPoirot 7y

PurpleyPumpkin @ferskner He really is! Love it. 👌🏽 7y
PurpleyPumpkin @batsy Excellent observation! You have to wonder... Poirot was highly intelligent, but those that surrounded him were much less so. Interesting!🤔 7y
batsy @PurpleyPumpkin Yeah, the more I read her now and consider what I know about her life, it does seem interesting. Like her characters can be xenophobic and awful at times, but Poirot is often subtly critiquing English society, in a way. 7y
UwannaPublishme I think I need more Agatha in my life. 😊 7y
