I've been reading such excellent books lately and I'm having rather lackluster feelings towards this one. Not that I don't like it, just that it's not as moving and exciting as some of its peers. I'm doing this on #audiobook mainly which could be part of the issue...?

Read and enjoyed Shotgun Lovesongs by this author and I've heard good things about this one too. I'm listening to the #audiobook which is perfectly narrated to match the main character. #audiobook #readandlisten #libby

A lovely memoir on a very modern topic -- commercial DNA 🧬 test results reveal a difference in family history than what was previously believed. The author, Dani Shapiro, took the test on a whim and the results have changed her life. She writes about the experience beautifully in her memoir. Also, the #audiobook was nicely done from #Libby. #readandlisten

A newlywed couple find themselves On Chesil Beach 🌊 This isn‘t the happy-go-lucky romance novella you may be hoping for with “beach” in the title. Very British. And very much set in the past. Though it‘s short, it‘s not lacking in character development.
