I think there's a reason readers tend to be cat people--it's a practical necessity! I'm starting to understand why my (extremely limited) morning reading time is 10% reading, 20% drinking coffee, and 70% keeping the dog occupied. Because if she's in the mood to play and NOT occupied, she's sticking her nose in my book or in my coffee cup, and neither of those work for me. #puppyproblems
