Leftcoastzen I just have to laugh ! 😂😂😂📚📚📚📚I didn‘t go or purchase online to B& N , I bought 4 boxes at an annual sale here in February,yet bought 2 books (half trade half cash) yesterday.Don‘t have the energy to count all the books in my house. (edited) 5y

Samplergal I‘ve only bought two. I‘m downsizing and using the library when I can. I‘m making e books my preferred method of reading, but there is nothing like a real book. 5y

Judybskt 2!! And one was for book club. I had it on my tbr list and would have waited. I‘m trying to cut back too. 🙋🏼‍♀️ 5y

DGRachel I bought 14 just on Friday. According to LibraryThing, I‘ve added 70 print book to my library just in 2019 and all but maybe 4 of them are ones I bought myself. I‘m out of control and must stop. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 5y

Lcsmcat I think I‘ve bought 8 and been given one physical book. But I have 1979 on my shelves. I don‘t have an accurate count of my ebooks. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 5y

flying_monkeys If you find the trick to making oneself stick to the rule “only buy # for every # read” please do share. Thankfully my book budget is small, but I still have way more owned to-read than owned read. ☺️ 5y

janeycanuck I have not purchased a single book yet this year that‘ll add to my TBR (I have the new house and the new illustrated HPs on pre-order...) But I had to go cold turkey after trying to do a 2-out-1-in policy last year and ending the year 84 books behind on the out side of the equation! So I feel ya! 5y
