His children‘s books have been a part of our lives for generations,but I am still amazed when looking through vintage magazines and his recognizable style delights my eyes with his advertising work.He was already known as Dr.Suess when he did this one , but early ones are unsigned as he was just hired as a general illustrator.

Leftcoastzen @Suet624 They used to not care about that stuff so much, I saw thousands of cigarette ads in my youth yet never was a smoker. 5y
