Sophie Hatter. She is an old, sassy, hardworking grandma for most the book. She has to deal with Howl's vanity and stupidity and ends up breaking his curse because he's too scared to!
This is my all time favorite book and I think it's because I can relate to Sophie so well!

Fifteen #KickassHeriones of all colors, backgrounds, and orientations told throughout the history of what became the U.S. So much here for it. I couldn't get enough and I'm waiting with bated breath for the sequel.
