Definitely taking advantage of the resurgence of the popularity of the character due to the “Cobra Kai” franchise. A lot of heart felt nostalgia and behind the scenes stories primarily of the original films. It‘s entertaining. There are times when the author kind of blows the characters role as a cultural icon out of proportion a little. But the role was the pinnacle of his career, so I can‘t fault him for that. Signed copy.

Enjoying this book but I‘m distracted by this toy sitting atop the emergency lights. What‘s the story here? 🤔

Aims42 😂😂😂 Too funny! Yeah, what‘s the backstory on how/why it got up there? 13mo

What a lovely nostalgic trip down memory lane, but boy do I wish it was edited better.

This memoir struck the perfect note while taking a walk down memory lane.

I absolutely loved The Karate Kid as a teenager and saw it multiple times in the theater.

Macchio recognizes how lucky he is to be part of the Karate Kid franchise and to still be making fans with the success of Cobra Kai.

He truly seems to be a nice guy.

I still kind of have a crush on Johnny Lawrence, though 😄

I loved The Karate Kid as a kid (still do) and I‘m pretty obsessed with the Cobra Kai series on Netflix, so I loved every second of this memoir. Macchio‘s love for his Daniel LaRusso character shines through, as does his appreciation for the fans, and for the opportunity to expand The Karate Kid story to the next generation. I listened to the audio version, but I‘m glad I also bought the print copy because it‘s a keeper!

MallenNC This one is definitely on my TBR! 1y
