An adorable novella by an author local to my area. Demi finds themselves in an unusual predicament when a sneeze demon possesses their cat. I definitely enjoyed this read. #ColoradoAuthor #LGBTQIA #Cat

bookwyrm7 Couldn't resist ordering a Kindle version of this book. Your cat is a great sales purrson, I hope they're getting lots of treats as payment! I didn't know this was just the first of a trilogy so your kitty might end up being to blame for me ordering at least a couple more books. They should be given a percentage of sales! 😹 2w
Kenyazero @bookwyrm7 she's happy to do the work if it means promoting small authors! I hope you enjoy/d! (edited) 2w
bookwyrm7 @Kenyazero I've just downloaded it to my Kindle and will read it soon. Giver a good scratch for me as a tip! 😺 2w

Our library picked this as it's big community read, so I gave it a try. It's really well written and interesting, for sure. Beautiful prose, deep explorations of grief, women's issues, and displacement, and a Colorado setting make this book really shine. It did have the parade of painful tragedies that make me hate historic fiction. I loved hearing from the author during an author presentation at the library. She's wonderful. #ColoradoAuthor

Kenyazero I didn‘t feel that the ableism surrounding the uncle was warranted or served a purpose in this narrative. 2mo

Went to a local authors event at my library today and had so much fun meeting a bunch of Colorado authors. I wish I could have bought from every author I spoke to! 🤩 This was such an amazing event and I can't wait to read these books! #MountainOfAuthors #LocalAuthor #IndieAuthor #ColoradoAuthor

Simply adorable. I wasn't sure at first because I hated that the parents were so unwilling to be flexible with the boy's nighttime fears, but I really enjoyed where the story went. I also loved the character designs on the monsters. I can see why Yan is known for monsters. My husband picked this up for me as a Hanukkah gift because it's by a #ColoradoAuthor. I love finding local authors to follow! #PictureBook #Zombies

I really enjoyed this satisfying conclusion to Adam Binder‘s story. Slayton does an excellent job of crafting an engaging and thoroughly entertaining story. There were a few things that felt held back on such as everything that happened with Vran, but it didn‘t feel underdeveloped, feeling instead like it‘ll come up later. #LGBTQ #Fantasy #ColoradoAuthor

Did I listen to this for the second time this year because I wanted a refresher before I started the recently published third book? Yes! And I'm glad I did-- this made a fun Halloween read. #LGBTQ #Fantasy #Paranormal #ColoradoAuthor

Beautifully written this book is in turns heartbreaking and uplifting. Set in a time when life was tough and people had to be just as tough to survive. The main character, Gracie, has been a midwife for generations of women. She's accused of the unthinkable by a powerful man. As the story unfolds the secrets of many stay too come to light. How those secrets are delt with makes all the difference.

My husband is getting me a number of impulse-buy books for our anniversary (very different from my usual don‘t-buy-unless-you-have-researched-and-it‘s-used-but-even-then-maybe-not style of book buying). It‘s been fun and we‘re hitting #localbookstore. Stopped by a favorite shop today and found a graphic novel I‘ve heard good things about and a Colorado author I haven‘t heard anything about! #coloradolocal #coloradoauthor #shoplocal
