As it's finally getting wintery here in the UK, my bookish tastes have turned back to Scandi noir. I'm only 5 or 6 chapters in but I'm already gripped by Victim Without a Face. The main detective (Fabian) is an intriguing character and the set-up is great. Like all good Scandi noir the characters are flawed, there's plenty of moral ambiguity and a community with hidden secrets. It's my winter comfort reading and perfect for #brunchwithabook.
