bailedStill reading through my #BOTM backlog. This one had such a great premise. I even read through my “read to my age” rule and made it to page 75 hoping it was just a slow starter. It did get off to a great start but after that it just didn‘t seem to know where to go. Lots of repetition and words I just didn‘t feel belonged in a re-telling of the Iliad — “boobies” and “back door” (not the one in your house😂) Its sadly another #botmnope for me. 🙁
