I did like the book, although I loved the #whitequeen! But I find myself on the edge of my seat wanting to know what is happening next , but the next book in the series is #thekingmakersdaughter , so I feel like I‘m going to go backwards in the time line

Here are a few of the novels I have read involving royalty. ASOIAF by George R R Martin has a lot of 'crowns' from Kings, Queens, Princes, and Princesses, both North and South of the wall, past and present.

Graceling has Royalty in several of the lands, and the Princess Bitterblue becomes Queen in Bitterblue. Finally, Cinder has Royalty both on Earth and the Moon.

So many crowns! 👑

The Rivan Queen is a selfish, temper-tantrum-throwing child through most of David Eddings‘ Belgariad series— she‘s very vivid, like a firestorm that tears through them. Image by Tao-mell on Deviant art. #whitequeen #bookishcrown

Foxyfictionista These books defined my childhood! I can't tell you how many times I've read them. 7y
Anitta Since they were never translated to my mother tongue, I started reading them as an adult and loved them! 7y

Don't get me wrong, I really liked the book. But I guessed the plot twist at chapter 2, and still hoped the author would surprise me, which she didn't.

The #Novemberland challenge is a bit vague, so does this count as #whitequeen #bookishcrown?

Linsy I think so! Unless you wanted to build a crown out of books ... and that sounds difficult, lol. 7y
