2018 book hangover is a doozy. I‘ve just finished adding up how many books I bought this year(95%online,may have missed a couple bought in store) and the final total is-🥁- 265!!!😱Excuse me while I go make up a lovely story for the hubby (no sweetie, that bill is a hardware store not a bookstore) #BookHangover2018 #WhatsYourDamage2018
Edit:Forgot to add the ebooks & audiobooks I bought, plus 4 I bought in store at Dymocks, so new total is: 299!

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I‘m not sure I could count mine, but most of mine come from Goodwill or Salvation Army!! Still bad, but no receipts or evidence and no hubby to fuss at me!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 5y

RebL I can take some of my purchases as tax write offs, so I add the expense every year. 😱 I‘m also a heavy library user & do get some free books, but still... $$$. I‘m with @merelybookish in the end. My money supports the literary community. 5y
