150 years ago, a mathematician from Oxford wrote a fairy tale about a little Englishwoman. Everyone knows this girl: she fell into a rabbit hole, she went through a mirror! Invented by Lewis Carroll #Wonderland still excites the imagination of readers all over the world: children and adults, historians and artists, philosophers and poets! 🐇☕🎩🌹😸♠♥

Erofan @Centique Yeah, the books are great! But these books have so many details to pull, to unfold! There is no time to read the original story! Please don't be jealous 😊 5y

hhavel I actually saw the original Lewis Carroll manuscript of "Alice in Wonderland" on a trip to England several years ago. I think it is housed in the National Museum. The original manuscript itself is in a leather-bound journal book with incredible hand drawings by the author himself. He gave this book to a young girl he had been observing in his town. Somehow, the book ended up being one of the greatest stories in the English language. Thanks! 5y
jpmcwisemorgan I went to an Alice in Wonderland exhibit at UT Austin a few years ago - apparently they have a sizeable collection. It was really cool to see all the different art work from over the years. 5y
Erofan @hhavel Wow! 😄 Such a book really exists! I found it on the British library website http://www.bl.uk/turning-the-pages/?id=86825520-a671-11db-a264-0050c2490048&type... 5y
