pickAs with every short story collection, some stories stood out while others were so-so. I took a long break between the 1st & 2nd half and during that time I found that certain scenes often popped back into my mind. Under My Roof is my favorite & if it ever becomes a novel, I'll definitely pick it up. Mamatas has made it onto my radar & I look forward to reading more of his.
