Pickpick

Finished my reread of the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. I don't know what it is about these books, but they always pick me up when I'm particularly stressed or down. Mindless fun.

Laughterhp I love these books! 😊 6y
BibliOphelia I think for me it‘s that there‘s a certain sweetness to them. They‘re lots of fun! 6y
Chellebearss I hope to start this series this month! 6y

wanderinglynn I am #TeamEric. But I love all of Charlaine‘s books! 6y
LoverofLit @wanderinglynn I'm totally #TeamEric too! Both book and television versions 💞 6y
wanderinglynn @LoverofLit Big YAS! Loved him in the book, then loved him on the TV version. Alexander Skarsgård was the perfect choice for Eric! ❤️ 6y
Crystalblu They are the perfect summer read! #teameric 6y
corycatelyn I've been considering rewatching true blood...I enjoyed the series and the books 6y
Traci1 @Chellebearss I hope you like it. 😊 6y
Traci1 @wanderinglynn @LoverofLit I'm #TeamEric too. Although I was pretty much #TeamAnyoneThatsNotBill. Rereading this first one just reminded me of all the ways I dislike him. 6y
Cedricsmom I liked the book but I was disappointed in the way they filthed up the show. I couldn‘t get through the first episode. The book was very cute though. #grandma 6y
Traci1 @Cedricsmom the show was really weird. It was quite a bit grittier than the books. It felt like a train wreck. Painful to watch at times but hard to turn away. I watched them all, and there were things I didn't care for (it was way over the top with the content) and things I did (certain characters that had bigger parts or that weren't in the books at all that I liked a lot). 6y
