Have just a few minutes of time before I need to get ready for work, and decided to start this book. Flipping through the table of contents and I saw Cameron Esposito included! I was excited to learn about women pushing boundaries, but I didn‘t realize how many different kinds of artists were included! I‘m so excited that I might discover more media that I love as much as Cameron‘s podcasts and stand-up sets!

pickThis had to go back to the library before I was quite finished with it, but I liked it! The stories were sensational, but tempered by some pretty gritty truths. They generally get more adult as the book goes on. I was almost at the end, so I'm ok with taking a break, but I appreciated the fact that the author didn't try to gloss over unflattering details. It fleshed out stories that I had heard before, though most of this book was new to me!
When you go to the library twice in one day because your holds came in. I'm really excited to start Rejected Princesses! Already thinking I might have to get a copy for planning future programs on awesome women. #HardcoreLadytypes #bookhaul
pickFinally got a copy of LadyCastle #1, and it was as amazing as I'd hoped! A mix of some of the best parts of Lumberjanes and Rat Queens, it was funny, touching and headed towards a greater adventure. The men are gone and the ladies are taking over. Talk about some #hardcoreladytypes
