#Booked2022: any tips for what to read for #FromaBlackownedorcentricpublisherorimprint ? I use audiobooks from my (big Toronto) library system, and it's easy to find audiobooks by and about Black people and issues, but they're all by the big publishers... :(
Smarkies I may be getting a book from Cassava Republic Press as they seem to be readily available on book depository. It's a publisher based in Africa - hopefully that counts. 😅😅 2y
Singout @Smarkies lots of those, but only as e-books. I think I‘ve found something. It‘s an interesting lesson into the complex and privileged world of publishing which I don‘t know much about, even after being an editor. 2y
