The plot was well done and while it was mostly character driven, Aiden and Maggie's meet cute was a memorable one and one that had me laughing because I was in Maggie's position myself not that long ago 🤣 but throughout the book, I was laughing and nodding along because of some similarities. It was definitely a nice change to read of a grumpy women dating a nice man. And I mean it.

ChaoticMissAdventures As a grumpy woman who just wanted at her nice guy bf about work all through dinner, I agree we need more of these relationships shown 😂 5h
mariaku21 @ChaoticMissAdventures Right?!? We exist and need more of these books in the world ☺️ 5h

Perfectly lovely. A cozy city-country swap (grandma & granddaughter trade homes for two months) with generations learning from each other.

I realize there are bits in the story that might make it less cozy for others. Trigger warnings under spoiler in the comments.

CogsOfEncouragement Sister/granddaughter has lost battle with cancer before story begins, but is often discussed. A mother/daughter deals with severe depression. The MC has a cheating boyfriend. A character has an ex cause him to rarely see his 9 year old daughter. 16h

1. I sure do… I would guess I have over 500 books in my library…
2. Done… although I had a few very good reads this month!

Controversial take: books set in the early 2000s could be considered historical fiction. Read this article over on Book Riot to see why.

#Two4Tuesday @TheSpineView

1) roughly 800 books, I guess. My kids probably have about 600 books together. 🫣🫣

2) phew, difficult to choose. Quite a few good books.

TheSpineView I was afraid to do an actual count.🤪 Thanks for playing 18h
julesG @TheSpineView I guesstimated. How many books on a shelf x the amount of shelves. Then rounded up; some shelves are not only double stacked but have some books crammed on top too. 🫣🫣 18h
