so-so2.5⭐️s. The translation was choppy, & I disliked the father's dull POV. The mother's POV was too melodramatic for me. Stella's section was the most interesting, but I honestly think the book was too predictable (it needed a different killer & motive). The writing was very repetitive with too much inner dialogue, & instead of a pulse-racing ending, the mother's flashbacks during the trial made it drag. Nice premise, but lacking in execution. 😕
