#BFC Well my library is motivating me to meet my book goals in my #BookFitnessChallenge. I asked and for the 2nd and 3rd times in a week they purchased my recommended audiobooks! I just finished 6.38 miles but I tempted to get back out there for more listening pleasure!

marleed @4thhouseontheleft Last week was my first time making a request to my Library through Overdrive. It‘s incredibly simple so I‘m not sure why I hadn‘t used it before this challenge. So far they‘ve purchased 3/4 requests! 5y
Caterina Awesome!! That's great motivation! I used to make requests through Overdrive, a few years ago, but they never bought any of the books I requested, even the bestsellers, so I gave up. 😂 5y
marleed @Caterina oh that‘s too bad. My previous library in San Antonio had the nations premiere elibrary. It was awesome. That card is about to expire. It‘s taken nearly a year for me to find a lib I could join that used overdrive almost as well! And Omg - SA just bought from scratch and dropped it while typing. Now I have 2 copies! 5y
Caterina I'm moving to Berkeley for grad school in August, so I have high hopes that my lifetime of rural Carolinas library woes will be a thing of the past! 😂 5y
marleed @Caterina oh congratulations and good luck. I bet you‘ll have multiple cards through Berkeley. I just realized that my local card was reciprocated with several area libraries. And it‘s one of those reciprocated libraries that is nearly matching my SA experience. So be sure to check that out. 5y
