Faramir is such a great character. He is so similar to Aragorn and still different. I like his loyalty, his courage and his honesty. I like his sense of duty and his sense of his place in the world.
He could be a leader, but he knows his is the place of a servant of his people and his king. And this knowledge, l think, gives him his strength.
In a way, he is very much like Sam.
