pick5⭐️! This was one of those fabulous pieces of historical fiction that uses real people, places, and storylines in a way that really makes the fiction come alive. As far as WWII fiction goes, this was on the cheerful end of the spectrum. It did make me cry once, but it‘s set in Britain the entire time and told from the perspective of young (straight, white, Christian) women, so Nazi cruelty is a very far away threat.
