My father in law,FBI Agent Frank Spencer,was instrumental in the trial that sentenced another of the Birmingham bombers(one was sentenced in 1977,Thomas E. Blanton in 2001.He left his hospital bed(on the way to the trial his heart failed him)& testified in court with his daughter,cardiologist,emergency medical personal & equipment standing by.This well researched book chronicles the trial.🔽

He had the whole gun salute burial- my son was given the flag that draped his casket. It was so moving. Thank you for your responses! (edited) 2y
