panI was incredibly disappointed to see how much I disliked this book because I loved The Road and also because I have seen it reviewed over and over as "the greatest work of American literature" and given five star reviews. There were parts of this novel that I actually enjoyed, but then some parts of his prose was written in such a challenging way that I had trouble following what was going on.
