I've begun my reading challenge with Sunrise by Dominic Cooper, a British writer unknown to me. This book Sunrise, published in 1977, is the story of "a forest worker who escapes into the wild after burning down the family home." It has been referred to as a "forgotten classic of contemporary literature."

I knew absolutely nothing about the Scottish author but this novel is about a man living on a Scottish island, in an unhappy marriage. That was enough to sell me! :-)
