pickThe image is from the end pages. I enjoyed it. The book had a touch of magical realism. For four hundred years a child of the Incan nobility has been chosen to protect the special llamas and other secrets.

#MiddleGradeMarch @megnews @sblbooks I decided it was more middle than elementary. Only a few of my fifth grade readers would have enough stamina to finish.
No music is more beautiful than llama-humming. It sounds like wind over the water. It sounds like water rippling over moss-covered stones. It is wind-and-water music.

1. I hate that I am having to tell students not to hug me and do elbow bumps instead. I'm trying to protect them, but it is hard.
