This was a cute witchy romance!

The premise is super fun. It‘s about two witches who fall in love during a spell casting reality show competition. The competition parts were very entertaining to read.

The romance aspect worked very well. The two leads, Penelope and Gil, made a great couple. I loved their dynamic and their chemistry.

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

I have treasured memories of watching baking shows on maternity leave while snuggled up with my newborn, but I haven‘t really watched them since. My “baby” (now five) and I started watching “Halloween Baking Championship” together for the first time the same night that I picked up this book. So, this was the right book at the right time for me, but I also just thought it was creative and endearing. ⬇️

ICantImReading I liked how the magic system felt like cooking science with recipes and I thought it was fun to read about the challenges. #Aardvark #AardvarkBookClub 4w

Meh. This was okay. A magical reality tv show like GBBO but with magical spells. It‘s a romance and a mystery when everything starts going wrong. The characters were really annoying to me so I didn‘t really like this one.
