I was not expecting to have as many FEELS with this as I did! Archie with zombies. I wasn‘t expecting much out of this but there was a lot of thought put into the reason for the outbreak and what the characters are going through. I was pleasantly surprised with this! But oof. Was not expecting it to break my heart the way it did. If you‘ve read this, you know what I‘m talking about.

This was way better than I expected! It isn‘t just great for an Archie comic, it‘s great for a horror comic.

I love the Archie Horror imprint! A Zombie Apocalypse hits Riverdale. I‘m not an Archie comics reader (the only thing I‘ve read related is Blossoms 666 and CAOS) only a Riverdale watcher, so I‘m not use to the feud between Veronica and Betty Cooper which is VERY annoying to me. Otherwise, awesome title! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 #Archiecomics #Archiehorror #zombies #graphicnovels #comics #riverdale

Tuesday night stuffs! 🤘

So...the general idea is Jughead's dog, Hotdog, is hit by a car and killed. He turns to Sabrina (obvi, cuz she's a Witch) to help bring him back to life. That's not a spoiler btw. It literally happens on page 2.

This is a zombie comic so you can see where this is going...

And you know what? It's pretty friggen awesome! 🤘

I don‘t usually read horror around Christmas but after reading the whole Sabrina‘s series I wanted to try Afterlife with Archie. I was not disappointed! The illustrations are amazing! And the story line is so far good and you even get a cameo from Sabrina.

It was ok. I liked Chilling Adventures of Sabrina better. It wasn‘t bad. The art was good but it felt like they tried too hard. Not sure if I will pick up the next bind up.

Recently, I've found myself stepping outside my usual genre zone and delving into horror. I just finished the properly disturbing Pet Semetery and feel a little lighthearted creepiness is in order. I've never been a comic fan, but I'm thoroughly enjoying this alternate Archie-verse! 💀👻📚

WhatThePuck I read Pet Sematary in high school. I slept with the lights on for a long time. 😂😂 6y

The penultimate award in #thekrisbookawards2017 goes to this gem of a graphic novel. It‘s the “oh my gosh am I actually going to rate a zombie Archie comic book five stars on Goodreads hell yes I am” award. Check it out.

Creepy and not afraid to shock you, I really enjoyed Afterlife With Archie. As soon as I started it, I couldn't put it down until the last page, and there were at least two moments where my heart was racing with the characters.

I've never read any Archie comics, but obviously I know who they are. This was just bonkers zombie goodness with just the right amount of cheese I'd expect from an Archie comic! The part with Archie's dog was sad 😔🐶💔 I'll likely grab the next one if I see it!

This was a fun and darker take on the Archie and friends I‘m familiar with. Not as dark as The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina though. There is a scene with Archie‘s dog that made me tear up. #screamathon

Wow. This was not what I expected at all. I decided to read some of the newer Archie comics when I watched the show Riverdale, and this was a great first pick. It is an excellent zombie comic, which was surprising, and both the text and the art had a great balance between an homage to the old comics and intriguing new ideas. Can't wait for the next one.

So that actually made me a bit sad. The art is creepy and pulpy, and I love the staging and breakdown of the panels. Seeing Riverdale all dark and tragic is such a trippy twist! I just didn't expect to feel so saddened by the demise of the beloved characters. Or maybe it's still the mom hormones? This is a single issue cover since any page is a spoiler because zombies. #mommyreads #comics #zombies #riverdale

I loved the Archie universe when I was a kid, especially Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I have been enjoying seeing a recent Archie resurgence. What really impresses me is how Archie comics have become more inclusive and diverse. Good on Archie for evolving with the times. Afterlife with Archie is a fun horror/zombie story that is perfect for new fans and old ones looking for a bit of comics nostalgia. #biblioweekend.
