I wasn‘t invested enough in the characters to slog through the sexism. To be fair, it was clear that it is characters and societies that are sexist, the sexism is not from the author‘s perspective… but having two out of three societies be painfully, abusively sexist is grating.

Sooooo, my #doublespin for this month is supposed to be a book I have downloaded called The Glory. However, there‘s no such book on my e-shelves. (I even googled it and while there are two books with that title, neither sounds like something I would download, even for free!) I can only guess this is what I meant, since it has “glory” in the title. 🤷🏻‍♀️
