pickThe Wilcox family decided to circumnavigate the globe starting in 1974. Their adventures included shipwreck and some highly questionable decision making. This is a low pick for me because it‘s an interesting story, but it was written recently when awareness of privilege is prominent, yet it failed to explore their very obvious privilege. It felt much more like it was written in the 70s or 80s.
