Mehso-so

3 â This was nice but too simple. One of the biggest questions I can see a kid asking is how come her last name is Mankiller. It is never mentioned. As usual this series just brushes over history. They did include some of the more sorrowful things but gave them a happy spin. I like this series, but this is not the best book in the series.

Pickpick

Another LPBD book complete, I've been loving this multi million - copy best selling series! I'm ashamed to say that I really didn't know much about Wilma and this book taught me. Not my favorite for the illustrations, they are a little more bland than many of the LPBD books I've read however, the story is important, I learned something, and I truly enjoyed it. This is a special book that I'll enjoy sharing with my grand kids, helping them learn.
