My luck with Prime First Read books has been up and down, but my choice this month was a definite winner. Taking place at the end of WWII, three women volunteer to work at a displaced persons camp in Bavaria. The difficulties they face, both running the camp and in their personal lives, makes a fascinating, moving story. We‘ll written, with memorable characters, this is a book that will stay with me for quite a bit. Recommend.

The was my Kindle First Reads choice this month. I think I‘ll give it a spin. I‘ve stayed away from WWII novels for a while; I think I‘m ready to start again.
