All my thoughts wouldn‘t fit within the character limit for Litsy, but I couldn‘t not get them out.
I‘m truly at a loss.

wanderinglynn It makes me so angry because it‘s preventable. 😡 I‘ve lived in Japan for 2 years and you know what hasn‘t happened in those 2 years? A mass shooting. Not one. Why? Because no one in Japan can purchase a handgun or rifle. Only the Japanese military & police have guns. 2y
Chelseabillups30 @wanderinglynn, yes. You‘re absolutely right. I‘m sick of lack of appropriate mental health care here in the USA and what seems like non-existent gun laws. I‘m sick of people worrying more about having their second amendment rights stolen or something being deemed unconstitutional and those concerns overpowering concern for human life and regard to health of the owner of the gun. 2y
Chelseabillups30 @wanderinglynn,Kids and teachers don‘t deserve to fear for their lives in exchange for the opportunity to teach and learn. 2y

Bookwormjillk I‘m reeling today. At lunch a child at our local high school was stabbed and died. Then a few hours later the news from Texas. Simply heartbreaking. 2y
AmyG Vote. Vote for people who will pass common sense gun laws. Until then this will happen over and over and over. I am incensed. 2y
Julsmarshall I‘m so heartbroken. I feel like I vote and march and speak to my gun owning friends and nothing changes. If they can‘t see the light when kindergartners die, I just don‘t know if they‘ll ever care more about kids than their damn guns. But I‘ll keep voting and marching and fighting because we must. This has to end. 2y
Amiable @AmyG Amen. 2y
Chelseabillups30 @AmyG, I vote. And I wish I felt like it made a damn bit of difference. Like the easy answer was putting the right person in office and that would end this nonsense and senseless killings. But I‘m not sure I believe that it can happen within our current system by what we‘re seeing take place time and time again. I wish the answers were easy and I wish I felt like I had them and could play an active role in this that was sure to make a difference. 2y
AmyG @Chelseabillups30 Voting is the only tool I have. It‘s the right people in every office. But people need to do their homework on who to vote for. People need to speak up. People need to get active to get the right candidates elected. And more and more people need to vote. Young people as it‘s their duture. What country do they want to live in? Election after election after election..... (edited) 2y
