pickI almost DNFed this at several points but somehow I held on. It's actually a great book in spite of the fact that nothing much happens. The story follows some ordinary people leading their ordinary lives, and I appreciate it when an author shows that you don't have to be an adventurer to be truly interesting. The character studies are fascinating.
That said, I'm not sure I'll continue with the series.
