panI almost DNF here. And at 360+ pages it felt endless. It‘s a multiple genre story (spy/mystery/romance/historical fiction) set in Vienna/Prague in post WWII. There is A LOT of detail, not much action and lackluster characters. The writing felt choppy with abrupt, unexplained jumps in the narrative. The characters did not react to situations in logical, expected ways. Maybe in minority here, but unfortunately I feel like my time was wasted. 2/5⭐️
