Oh I enjoyed this quick listen comprised of essays of more than 20 years in this Winnipeg veterinarian‘s career. There are sections with the expected dogs, cats & other small animals- but also some more exotic encounters, as the title suggests. There‘s also practical advice (wash your hands, always be kind to the front desk at your vet‘s office) & throughout the love of animals is quite clear! It made my eyes fill, but also giggle! #AudioColoring

Phillipp Schott certainly doesn‘t seduce the reader into believing they will get a book full of only charming, humorous stories. He hits you with a tearjerker right from the start. Most of the essays, however, aren‘t quite as sad, although always heartwarming.
