1 post | 1 read
Set in the far distant future, the Kenari Senate oversees our galaxy as peacekeepers and intermediaries. Among them is Jade Kessler. Tall, redheaded, and quick-tempered, she's one of the Ivory Citadel's top students. Unlike her counterparts, young Kessler posses a unique ability that has put a target on her back for a reason of which she is unaware. Now she must take the journey of a lifetime to discover why she is so highly coveted, as well as learning a little more about herself than she realized.

I bought this because Amanda from my favorite podcast Fictional Hangover https://www.fictionalhangover.com/ is the Narrator. She has great voice and does a wonderful job on narration.

As for the story, I really liked it. It sets up the world of Jade and gives flashbacks of how she got there.

This one is complete story but leaves opening for more to come. Books 2 & 3 are available on Kindle. I hope Amanda gets to narrate them as well.
