I love this book and it inspired me to make better use of the ceiling in our utility room! So instead of bunches in odd places around the kitchen I‘ve got somewhere a bit more spacious to dry things from the garden. Going to really overplant with herbs this year and gather big bunches of there here 😀

So delightful, beautiful and inspiring! While a lot of the flowers and plants she mentions are not native to my area, the concepts, styles and methods in this book can still be applied. After reading this book I was motivated to go get the grass I‘ve had drying in the barn for the past 6 months and put it in a vase. 😀 Even decided to take it in to work! The perfect book to own or borrow for natural inspiration!

I‘ve been really inspired by the tagged book this year - finding beautiful and sustainable ways to enjoy flowers. In that vein, today I wound a willow hoop (which, now I‘ve made it will last for many years) and adorned it with lots of foraged bits and pieces! I had to restrain myself and know when to stop! Trying hard this holiday season to think about my impact on our Earth.

Bookzombie It‘s beautiful!! Also, I just love your front porch with the wood on the sides. (edited) 2y

Mitch @Bookzombie thank you. We have a bigger wood pile in the garden - but it‘s good to have some close at hand so we can make a quick dash on those cold dark nights! 2y
Mitch @Kdgordon88 @Prairiegirl_reading @amyg thank you - we‘ve had lots of wind this week - so hoping it survives! 2y
Mitch @Soubhiville thank you. I had to be very disciplined and know when to stop! 2y

Mitch @catebutler thank you. ♥️ 2y
Mitch @catebutler should have moved Mels drill though before I took the picture. I think I was so worried it wouldn‘t last long enough without falling apart! 🤣 2y

I‘ve love this author‘s Instagram- she seems to be able to make everything look effortlessly beautiful! So clipped some dried grasses from the field edges on my walk today to try to creat something! 🤞🏼
