so-soLured in by the cover and description, I bought this on impulse while browsing antiques. Here‘s the thing: Heinsohn was actually a talented writer (and her depictions of nature and wildlife are excellent) but after reading this, I can only say this is what a memoir by Hilly Holbrook from “The Help†would most likely resemble. Told 100% from a privileged white woman‘s POV, it was still an interesting read. Haven‘t tried the recipes yet.
