Love, Life.: A Mostly-True Fable.
Love, Life.: A Mostly-True Fable. | Bernardine Stapleton
1 post | 1 read
love, life. is a memoir-fable about coming out, going back in, grief, eating Italian, and catching the Piazzo Bernardini. Funny, ascerbic, this is a story of first unrequited love that follows emotional truth rather than chronological time, and is layered with darkly delicious tendencies. The ending will move readers to resume their own journey, loving life more.

3🌟This was a witty tale of a Newfoundlander romping through the Italian countryside in search of herself, sorting through her past, coming out, experiencing Italy and romance along the way. I appreciated the overall vibe of this book, and I always enjoy a finding yourself narrative. All the Italian scenery and food described gave me the itch to travel and meet people in foreign lands. All in all a breezy read for a summer's day. #bookreview
