2 posts | 2 read
This is it: The Clown Prince of Crime battles the Dark Knight Detective head-to-head for the last time. And one way or another, this will be the final chapter of their age-long conflict. The Clown Prince of Crime and the Dark Knight Detective go head-to-head for the last time. The Joker has never wanted to win before, he's never wanted his battle with Batman to end, but now his motivation has shifted. As The Joker's plan to assemble an army materializes, the only person who can save Batman from the brink of true madness is Harley Quinn. And while all this is happening, the villains of Gotham City are waiting out the carnage Joker has unleashed--and Catwoman assembles an army of her own! Collects Batman #95-100.

Tynion draws on ideas from Grant Morrison's Batman RIP and The Dark Knight Rises, as the Joker seizes control of Wayne Enterprises--how, exactly, I'm not really sure--to wreak havoc on Gotham. With Alfred gone, Batman's best ally is . . . Harley Quinn. Jorge Jimenez is at the height of his powers and Tomeu Morey might be the best colorist in the biz.

Mehso-so

Unbeknownst to the general public, the Joker has gained access to Wayne Enterprises, and the fortune behind it. Batman must work with Harley Quinn to get control of the company and clear Bruce Wayne‘s reputation. But can they defeat an unhinged adversary with all the technology and weapons in the bat-cave? Good premise, and fun enough, just not quite one of the better Batman stories

TieDyeDude Unbeknownst to the general public, until clown goons start running wild and Joker drones start flying overhead. Yeah, didn't love this one. 2y
