She came to the mountains for silence. He came to make noise. When Beth rents a mountainside cabin to focus on her art, the last person on earth she wants sharing her retreat is a drummer from a metal band. Finn is big, bearded, and tattooed, irritating and irresistible in equal measure. But when a storm forces them together, Beth and Finn soon find the tension between them is enough to shake the mountain to rubble, and that their hearts may not beat to such different rhythms after all.Marie Lipscomb is a writer with a penchant for unlikely heroes, fantastical creatures, and finding romance in the midst of chaos. She has a particular fondness for big, squishy, cinnamon-roll heroes, especially if they're beardy. Marie is the author of The Hearts of Blackmere series, a fantasy romance with a hairy, sweet warrior rocking a dad-bod. She is also the author of the Vixen Rock series, a contemporary romance rock star series starring sexy plus sized heroines and big, handsome heroes, coming Summer 2021.

What do you do when someone breaks into your house on Christmas Eve? You get your replica broadsword and confront them of course! And then what do you do when it‘s a sexy Santa?

I love this author and this was such a fun take on the Santa romance. I enjoyed every moment of it!

I never realized how much I needed a sweet cinnamon roll of an ogre in my romance! This was a short novella with insta monster love and overall a wonderful story.

Jaquelyn falls into a cave system that happens to be home base for Crug, a 10ft tall ogre who‘s been alone for years. They‘re both so different and the language barrier was funny, but there‘s an instant connection. I just loved Crug so much.

This book had all the feels. I loved the sweetness and humor. There are some steamy moments and times you want to yell at the characters. It‘s only book 2 and I‘m obsessed with this series.

Etienne is not the stereotypical romance hero. He‘s under 6 feet tall, is thick and is struggling with life. His band broke up, he‘s been stood up and he turns down the sexiest woman inviting him to a one night stand.

I absolutely devoured this book! It was so good, funny, sweet and steamy! I also appreciate a sexy big guy with a beard..

Beth has lost her muse so takes off for a cabin in the mountains for a weekend of solitude and painting. Until her downstairs neighbor turns out to be the drummer in a band who‘s there to practice. They get off on the wrong foot right away, but attraction takes over and over that weekend feelings get stronger.
