I found the most beautiful book (translated into Afrikaans from the German) at a market 6 months ago. Since then, the story has truly brought me inspiration and comfort, and sometimes when the giant cat in my life gets too big, I read this to my girls to remind myself to be brave and face it down, that I will get through this but I can't be afraid! When Selina faces the cat head-on, it gets smaller and smaller and never bothers the mouse again.
