“Hello…a bouquet of flowers, please. Extra nectar. The occasion? I‘m hungry. My address? A whale.”

Published 2021. A newly turned butterfly gets lost on his way to finding flowers with his friends. He has a lot of worry and doubt that he will be able to do it. With the help of a ocean friend, he finds the power and courage to make his way. Some of the illustrations are more clear and cartoonish, while others look more childish. Almost like crayon drawings.

I love this book. It is the sequel to The Very Impatient Caterpillar. By now the caterpillar is a butterfly and they got lost. He is way out I the ocean and it is 200 miles back home. There is no way they can do that. He is anxious, scared, and a little crazed. But the help of a whale telling them, they can do it, they make it home, only to be hit with the next anxiety inducing event. This book is full of heart and full of laughs.
