Happy Valentines Day Zoomers💖
This visually stunning PreK-1st realistic fiction picture book merges topics around giving, connecting to others, and LOVE with mathematics, currency, and numbers. A very special pupil I had this semester had the most amazing reaction.
“There are over 200 hearts in this book. See if you can find them all!” -HarperCollinsPublishers

Vanvlieta So cute! 3y
AndreaEfres In my opinion this is best for grade K3 as well as ELL students. It is a long read even for young students.
UDL: Clarify vocabulary and symbols (2.1) Through the hearts we can count.
LAFS.K.RL.2.5 Recognize common types of texts (e.g, storybooks, poems) students can recognize how a letter is written.
MAFS1.OA.3.5 Relate counting to addition and subtraction (e.g., by counting on 2 to add 2).
