January, called Jan, hates her new town. There’s nothing to do this summer in Memoir Falls except hang out in the dusty streets with other bored kids. Sure, she’s got a great boyfriend, but then there’s Charisse, who is cruel, and Samuel is just plain creepy.
As summer progresses, the unease in Memoir Falls heightens. Whispers dog her steps and memories she’s sought to block out resurface. The kids of Memoir Falls are as lost as she is, but unlike Jan, they want to stay that way…and they want her to stay with them.

Nine Ways to Die | Jordan Elizabeth

Everything up to this point that I've ever read and reviewed for Jordan I have really enjoyed and even loved. For whatever reason though, I simply could not get into Nine Ways to Die. I tried; I really did, but it just all fell flat for me. :(
