Pretty unique to my previous reads... I liked the relationships he fostered, and the historic aspect.
I think he was also the luckiest man... It's all very positive which makes it a warming read.

Got to say, I'd never have selected this but it's keeping me turning the pages!
Librarian book club choice.
It is 1625 and King Charles has a young French wife, Henrietta Maria. Nat Davy is a 10 year old dwarf, whose father sold him to a Duke who then gifted him to the Queen. What follows is a lovely heart warming story. I enjoyed this. 4/5
Another historical fiction title that sounds intriguing...
“They called me the queen‘s dwarf, but I was more than that. I was her friend, when she had no one else, and later on, when the people of England turned against their king, it was me who saved her life. When they turned the world upside down, I was there, right at the heart of it, and this is my story.”
