This book is really good. It's a YA thriller with an unreliable narrator. I had no idea where it was going until the reveal. I love when that happens.

Terra is a little bit crazy. Terra was abducted and kept in the woods for several days. No one believes her.

It's very clever.

So this is the story of Terra, an emotionally damaged teen trying to make her life work despite the death of her parents and an unresolved abduction, made even more complicated by the fact that no one around her believes it happened. Generally this is an interesting story although the build is a little slow, and I‘m completely satisfied by the ending. Overall, a generally fast read that is heavy on the aspect of trauma.

Overall The Last Secret You‘ll Ever Keep is a fast paced and enjoyable read. Readers will definitely want to figure out what really happened to Terra and clear her name. I would have preferred that Terra was sassier and less of a drag. I struggled to relate to her because she was never particularly witty or wise which doesn‘t make it a juicy read. But the final 25% will keep readers on the edge of their seat. 3.5 stars
