pickI can see why I requested this title! My first Nov title is from my #netgalley backlog and is about a monster society existing parallel to the midwest's (and the world's but in this book the Midwest's) 1920s. The romance is pretty simple, instalove but the characters charismatic so I let it be. My interest did wane a bit towards the end tho. The villain was meh and the pacing felt rushed. Still, did enjoy! #fantasy
